“Do you think I could stop him? Nothing could stop Tommy from loving you. Not even his own stubbornness. No one can resist you, Angel. I didn’t want to fall in love with you. I wanted to hate you in the beginning, but I couldn’t. I fell for you just as quickly as Tommy did. I couldn’t hate you any more than I could hate him.” She put her arms around Tommy, closed her eyes and rested her head against his shoulder. “And you know how much I love this man.”
